"I use Link Frogs
to manage my reciprocal link directories. This is a tool I need
for one of the most important factors in my search engine placement.
Having excellent link popularity from relevant sites, good updated
content, and not trying to cheat are the biggest reasons why
I do well at Search Engine Optimzation. Link Frogs speeds up
the whole process, and I love that they keep checking for my
links to make sure I stay up on the other sites."

about |
"I'm
a web developer with a heavy emphasis on Search Engine Marketing.
My eye is always on Google and what's working for high ranking sites.
Google likes it when lots of relevant links are pointing at your site.
I then created a service to steadily gain lots of links, and keep
them relevant"

Link
Frogs Setup Process |
1. Send us an html page to make
your directory template.
2. Send us your ftp information so we can make changes to your
site.
3. Login to Link Frogs and define your categories.
4. Start adding links into your link categories and request
one in exchange. |
|
Defining
Your Categories |
Let's say your site is selling
soy candles, and yoga gear.
I would set my link categories something like:
| Yoga |
Soy |
Candles |
| Books |
Health |
Peace |
If I exchange 20 links with sites that are relevant to the term
'Yoga', then I am relevant for terms having to do with 'Yoga',
and so on...
Sites that are relevant to 'Yoga' are most likely going to contain
terms that I probably have, so I get help with many more terms
besides just 'Yoga'.

Create
Your Directory Index |
This index.html page in you links
directory will be the page that has links to all of your link
pages.
You must have a link on your site that points to this directory/index.html
page, so the search engines will find your relevant link pages.
So then I create a page on my site to be the main Links home
page(index.html) and put it into a new folder we'll name 'directory'.

Finding
Link Partners |
If you add the Link
Builder Frog to your account, we do it for you!
Or, you can browse the web for sites relative to your subject.
Check to see if they have good content. You are less likely
to get a link exchange if they don't have a link directory.
If you find one, there will most likely be a way to contact
them to propose a link. Sometimes this is an email address,
or it might be an online form.
The common process is after you have made a link to me, you
contact me and show me where my new link is. If I want that
link to stay, then I need to create a link from one of my sites
to one of your sites. |
